​ Race For The Cure Susan G. Komen October 5, 2017

My husband and I walked in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Memory of his Sister and my Mother. Walking in the Memory of our family members!

 

Salvation Army Center of Hope 

September 27, 2017

 

We provided 500 bag lunches to Hope Haven and Salvation Army Center of Hope. Twenty volunteers assisted with this Volunteer Service Project.

 

               Back2School Explosion

                    August 11, 2018

Volunteer2ServeNGive will host its 7th Annual Back2School Explosion on August 11th from 10am-2pm at the JRay Shute Recreation Center in Monroe, NC. We served 99 students and fed over 150 people.

Community Impact/News

​

We have currently fed 12000 people nutritious food through our Sunday's Feast Initiative and Surplus Food Recovery.

​

We provided 1100 students with backpacks filled with school supplies at our Back2School Explosion

​

Our Brelyn Giving Closet Initiative for Women has provided 101 women with gently worn clothes, shoes, accessories and toiletries who returned back into the work place.

​

We received the Proclamation from the City of Monroe on August 12th 2016. August 13th has been declared as our Back2School Explosion Day!

​

Volunteer2ServeNGive is a 2018 grant recipient winner from Wells Fargo.

 

Volunteer2ServeNGive was nominated for a Community Service Award from the City of Charlotte -Neighborhood Leadership & Exchange Awards and also nominated for a Unsung Hero Award from 100 Black Women of Charlotte, NC.

​

We're a 2018 Charity Crowd rise Winner  sponsored by Quicken Loans. We won $16,900.00 to complete Volunteer Service Projects in the community. Total winnings of  $26,648.00.
